This qualification is designed for learners who are dedicated to working with children. It provides learners with the opportunity to build up a comprehensive range of knowledge and skills to support their future careers within the Early Years sector.
It will prepare you to work in a supporting role, within the Early Years classroom, with children aged from birth to 5 years, with knowledge of children up to 7 years of age. Therefore, this qualification provides an opportunity to study a variety of subjects under three main categories such as child care and education, babysitting and parenting responsibilities.
Another benefit of pursuing this qualification is that it contains all the units included in the Level 2 Award in Babysitting and the Level 2 Award in Preparation for the Responsibilities of Parenting. In addition, there are units covering learning, development and play.

- creating games or activities for kids as young as 5 years and 11 months;
